Facts are true by definition. I KNOW that! But, sometimes–many times whenever politicians are involved–the FACTS simply make things appear, um… shall we say, unpleasant.
So, you will often hear something along the lines of: “When the TRUE facts come out, I’ll be vindicated.”
Another problem involves people that confuse FACTOIDS with facts. Factoids very often contain numbers and various statistics. They look like facts and sound like facts, but are indeed NOT facts.
